The source of electrical power

Cracroft Point, where the video equipment is located, has no electric power line access. The combination of a gasoline generator supplemented by solar panels and wind-generated power supplies electricity around the clock. Fifteen batteries store back-up energy, with an emergency uninterruptible power supply system (UPS) providing further backup for the computer and router.
